The UPSC logo embodies the Commission’s role as a guardian of trust, merit, and nation-building. Its circular form represents continuity, unity, and the unbroken cycle of service upheld for a century. At the centre sits the national emblem, symbolising authority and integrity, supported by a custom wordmark that also serves as the secondary mark. Surrounding it is a wreath of banyan leaves drawn from the banyan tree, a symbol of wisdom, stability, and resilience reflecting UPSC’s role in nurturing leadership. Anchoring the design, a ribbon inscribed with “संघ लोक सेवा आयोग” reinforces the institution’s purpose and enduring commitment to public service.

Identity & Type setting
The aim was to build a cohesive identity for the Panorama Centre, address wayfinding challenges, and enrich the environment through thoughtful graphic interventions. Abacaxi Devanagari has been chosen as the primary typeface across both Latin and Devanagari scripts, ensuring visual consistency throughout the space. To maintain balance, the Devanagari text is set 3 points larger than its Latin counterpart. Hindi is placed above the Latin text, acknowledging the predominantly Hindi-speaking visitor base and supporting clearer, more intuitive navigation.
